circumstances surrounding Mohbad's demise are thoroughly examined.
As concerns brew, initial police reviews suggest that the
general circumstances surrounding Mohbad's death remain uncertain. The details
surrounding the passing of Mohbad, who was only 27 years old at the time of his
death, are still shrouded in mystery.
"In support of this endeavor, the Lagos State
Government has pledged its complete assistance to the Special Investigation
Team in all necessary ways to ensure a diligent investigative exercise.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu affirmed this commitment while consulting with the
State Commissioner of Police earlier today on the best approach to
expeditiously conduct the investigation and promptly deliver justice."
Meanwhile, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu extended
an invitation to the Department of Security Services to participate in the
investigation into the late artist.
This information was conveyed in a statement signed by Lagos

The state government also expressed condolences to the family and fans of the
former Marlian Records signee.
"We deeply feel the loss of such a talented and
promising young man who made a name for himself in a highly competitive
industry. May the Almighty grant his soul rest and provide comfort to his
bereaved family and fans," the statement reads.
"The government also implores the investigating team to
ensure the confidentiality and protection of all witnesses who may step forward
with vital information or indicative evidence that may aid the process,"
it concluded.
Since Mohbad's passing, his music fans and sympathizers have
called for a thorough investigation to uncover the cause of his death.
Furthermore, human rights lawyer and Senior Advocate of
Nigeria, Femi Falana, stated on Wednesday that Omowunmi, the wife of Mohbad,
visited him to demand justice for her late husband.
Speaking with him in Abuja, Falana noted that he visited the
Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Idowu Owohunwa, adding that he
(Owohunwa) had been assured that an investigation had been launched.
"The young widow of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also
known as Mohbad, visited our office yesterday (Tuesday) to seek support in
pursuing justice for her late husband.
"While sympathizing with her and the entire Aloba
family, we assured her of our unwavering commitment to ensure that the
circumstances of the unfortunate death of the Nigerian rapper, singer, and
